I was born in Shoshanat haCarmel in Haifa, Israel many years ago. Sadly, my parents - who didn't speak any Hebrew, decided to move to the U.S. when I was 7 years old. I have gone back to Israel several times since then including going to Ulpan and volunteering at Kibbutz Chatsor, but there was never enough time to (re)learn Hebrew. Now, I have a 2 year old granddaughter (and 18 year old grandson) and I am determined to learn Hebrew for them once and for all.
